public interface DBIDVar
extends DBIDRef, ArrayDBIDs, SetDBIDs

(Persistent) variable storing a DBID reference. In contrast to the DBIDRef API, which are read-only references, this variable can be updated to point to a different DBID, e.g. the current best candidate.
